If you missed October’s talk, you are invited to join the Côte Saint-Luc Women’s Social Club at the ACC and hear CSL librarian, Melissa, talk about Love Saves the Day by Gwen Cooper. It will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at 1:45pm.
Losing her home when her owner passes away, Prudence the cat is taken in by her former owner’s grieving daughter, who maintains a meticulously organized life to avoid the pain of past losses and memories about her dynamic relationship with her mother. Although one of the main characters is a feline, the story will make you feel warm and realize the worth of family and pets alike! A touching tale with some strong messages.
You are encouraged to share your thoughts with others and to ask any questions you may have about the book—except for the ending!
If you have any questions about last month’s title, The Good Luck of Right Now, Melissa will be happy to answer them.
The library has 2 copies circulating of the current book to be discussed. Take one out today!
Coffee, tea and goodies will be provided after the talk, for some friendly socializing. Feel free to bring a friend.
Cost at the door for CSL Women’s Club Members: $3
Cost for Non-members: $4
